The RV042 is a horrible product. It reboots constantly, getting the VPN to work is a nightmare, and Linksys support is absolutely horrible. Linksys can't seem to be able to put out a decent VPN product. The PIX 501 just works. VPN was an easy to setup and there is lots of free support on the web and in the newsgroups.

What i've found thought, my previous router worked with VPN much better than 'state of the art' E4200. I'm using L2TP, and E4200 constantly (like, every 2 minutes) freezes all download/upload activities for a few seconds. It seemed annoying enough during the weekend, so I've already written to support@linksys.com.
